Close your eyes. As the walls close in, you dream of fire and apathy, But you chose the wrong ones to burn. Echoes of the ghosts are rotting inside the walls as you try to sleep, But you’re so tired, you’re so tired. Pills are the pain that your bruises hold on to; don’t stay awake ‘Cause you’re so tired; oh, she’s so tired. Suffocating slowly under his lips; She begs for more than that dreadful kiss; As hands are raised in the air she screams; Just one more pill she said. There will be a next time she falls down the stairs; There will be a next time she bursts into tears; And there will be a last time she faces her fears, but not alone: Just one more pill she said To herself tonight; in the softest corner of her bed; Next to all the broken vases she died; Without a word. Nothing has me wrapped up like you. Give up control: your mind is gone. As the walls close in you dream of fire and apathy, But you chose the wrong ones to burn down. Close your eyes. It's getting harder just to breathe.

Where’s your heart tonight? Is it locked inside the windows? Blinds closed shut, a cold silence fills your room. When did your life go by? Where'd it start and where does it end? Will you ever care to feel someday? But don’t you dare say you want it. All alone in the accident you left, I’m comatose in the ambulance again. Doors open now; reveal your face. Hiding behind the shattered glass again, your frozen tears cannot hurt me, so now Don’t let me go; I can see it in your eyes; You know the silence is killing away the open road. Don’t let me sink; I can’t breathe in the ocean without the bright lights pulling at me to get to shore. I know what this place is to you, so run away now. I could never find the evidence of your existence, but I still try to fix the open Tears run down me. Hiding behind this Masquerade of hearts; can you reveal our fate? I’m far too gone buried under all your lies. Carry me over wreckage that you’ve claimed; I hope you Don’t let me go; I can see it in your eyes; You know the silence is killing away the open road. Don’t let me sink; I can’t breathe in the ocean without the bright lights pulling at me to get to shore.

The chaos is spreading anew As you watch from the silent dreams that speak through razors and walls. I’ve found the fuel, and it smiles as you pour it all; But I stand here senseless as the waves rip you apart. I stand here senseless, as the waves they just rip you apart. Can I scream? And the city’s burning; your heart was left at home with burnt cigarettes. Among the chaos I’ve tried to look for you; When I took the first step the floor had fallen through me. I stand here senseless, as the waves they just rip you apart. Can I scream for you? Can I scream for you? I’ve looked at you from the stars that fill my head. Can I scream? I stand; I stand here senseless; I stand here senseless, as the waves they just rip you apart. Can I? Can I? Can I scream for you? Can I scream for you? I’ve looked at you from the stars that fill my head. Can I scream for you? I stand here senseless, as the waves they just rip you apart. I stand.

You speak to me; only whispers in the dark. You speak to me; but the silence speaks for you. Burn it to the ground; You can look in your books all you want but nobody can save you. Stop pushing knives into the palms of your hands; Or I’ll bury you in silence like the world did you. You speak to me, but no sounds come out, Just broken knees and shattered dreams; I never ever thought it would come to this because I thought you would believe me, But I knew that you would leave me when I noticed the note in the back of my head And I looked with my eyes and I felt with my head; I watched you slit your wrist as I lay breathless in the snow. Burn it to the ground; You can look in your books all you want but nobody can save you. Stop pushing knives into the palms of your hands; Or I’ll bury you in silence like the world did you. How have I forgotten The look upon the faces suffering from you? Loneliest of seas, I cross. To find the truth of you means I’ve already lost. As beautiful sirens are singing, My mouth is full of water I can’t stop drowning; I am helpless until the birds are set free, so I am following the trail of blood that’s been left; And I am helpless until the birds are set free, so I am following the trail of blood that’s been left behind. And I watched you slit your wrist again and again and again. How have I forgotten everything that made the walls go down in flames? As you surrendered to the seas, you held your hand. Now the sunset burns your skin; broken glass surrounds your feet Standing on the tallest tower over us all, and How have I forgotten everything? To find the truth of you means I’ve already lost. Loneliest of seas I cross, To find the truth of you means I’ve already lost.

My mind is cold, but your body’s a part of me; Skin as smooth as the rain, but sharper than words in pain. These violent sounds are the sounds of your fall; So sad are the roses you’ve left; as angry as the colors you’ve kept. You watched it burn As I waited for the flames to stop. You shout the words that I cannot hear, From the deafening sounds of raindrops coming in over my head. I hold this umbrella high as a reminder of what I’ve left behind; The currents drag me away as tears form in our eyes. But we promised, and I lied; We promised, and you lied. I am judgment; I am key; I am lover’s face in the sea. See, shadows? They lie inside me; Simplify the rain. You watched it burn As I waited for the flames to stop. Are we sleeping in the water? Like the strangers we’ve become, we don’t ask anymore. Are we drifting in the water? Like the strangers we’ve become, we don’t ask anyone. Don’t breathe, don’t sleep, there is no time for that, As I’m torn apart by the knives in your back; I smile at the welcoming sight of my heart on the floor; And to think that you’re not sleeping all alone; And to think that you’re now sleeping all alone.
